• Standard Chartered nexus is looking for a Technology Product Owner to join us as we scale across the region. You will play the role of a technology product owner for Cloud Infrastructure, Data Platform and Developer Experience

What you will be doing

• Lead the architecture and development of Nexus Technology Platform: cloud, containers, data platforms and some developer tools.
• Industrialize the rollout and deployment of nexus infrastructure into multiple partner locations and cloud regions.
• Own vision and road map for nexus banking infrastructure
• Collaborate with security, risk and functional delivery teams to understand the platform evolves to support the business and technology needs
• Contribute to securing of the platform offering using DevSecOps best practices, SAST and DAST tools
• Lead platform activity automation efforts at nexus
• Hire, Mentor and Guide team members
• Help make the nexus platform scalable and highly available
• Collaborate with Developer Productivity Engineering Lead to provide a world class experience for all our developers
• Collaborate with Cloud Platform Lead to provide one click setup/deployment
• Collaborate with Data Platform Lead to provide self-service data solutions

What you need to be successful in this role:

• 5+ years of experience working with Cloud/Container or Data platform
• Experience in project delivery or product management
• Excellent communication skills
• Previous Team lead experience in DevOps or Data.
• Experience prioritising tasks with technology teams
• Strong background in agile delivery methodology with experience working with multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Good understanding of AWS, GCP or Azure Cloud

• Experience with NoSQL Databases, Elasticsearch and Kafka.
• Relevant certifications in Cloud, Containers or Data Technologies

• A people leader with experience in team management and a passion in people development.

Role Specific Competencies

• NoSQL Databases, Elasticsearch and Kafka.
• Relevant certifications in Cloud, Containers or Data Technologies
• Previous Team lead experience in DevOps or Data
• Good understanding of AWS, GCP or Azure Cloud
• Agile delivery methodology
