Responsibilities
- To assist in KYC (e.g. PEP, Sanction, corporate company structure, and Negative News screening) for onboarding new customers, periodic reviews and remediation of existing customers.
- Drafting information requests and following up on all KYC queries from internal and external stakeholders on the onboarding and periodic review process (proper documentation, raising of information requests and status updates).
- Investigate and escalate issues related to any deviation from regulations, policies and procedures.
- Assist in responding to AML questionnaires or queries from external stakeholders.
- To assist with onboarding of outsourcing vendors and management of vendor risk register.
- Working with various stakeholders (treasury, legal, finance, security) on compliance and vendor risk management matters.
- Participate in process improvement, identifying and implementing best practices in an effective and fit-for-purpose manner.
- Assist in the creation of a compliance monitoring and reporting dashboard for management reporting
- Bachelor Degree in any discipline (preferably Accounting or Finance)
- Strong excel and analytical skills
- Motivated and has initiative; able to handle issues and resolve challenges in collaboration with colleagues
- Able to work independently and collaboratively as a team member
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to deal with a range of internal and external stakeholders
- Attention to detail, positive work attitude, strong organisational, interpersonal and communication skills
