Title and Summary

Senior Managing Consultant, Advisors Business Development

The position will be expected lead opportunities across the business development spectrum: origination and analysis, proposal development, client interaction and sales, contract management, execution oversight and value creation frameworks.

You will have the opportunity to own specific deals, lead strategic client engagements across a range of topics, countries and types of projects. Working with technology and data, you will generate key hypotheses and independently structure workstreams covering client problems. Managing ongoing client opportunities, sales pipeline and closures, you will also create creative and useful analyses to address client problems, synthesize analyses into clear, sound recommendations, and create effective, impactful storylines.

Key accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
• Design and develop effective programs and proposals that address market-wide client needs - working with Product team to synthesize case studies, identify relevant products and build financial / revenue impact models for Mastercard and client-ROI.
• Build relationships and lead engagement with key internal stakeholders with authority for approving each opportunity. Key success factor is working with them to integrate market feedback, iterate proposal structure / content / pricing.
• Originating your own opportunities by identifying areas where market-wide programs can support internal and external client objectives.
• Support go-to-market strategy and execution of new models and solutions.

Qualifications
Core competencies
• Self-directed and motivated: aptitude in managing complex processes effectively to drive results.
• Ability to accept ambiguity and work in a fast paced, innovative environment.
• Strong Analytics and consulting skillset: proficiency in structuring content into compelling narratives (PowerPoint, Excel)
• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work across business units.
• Written and Verbal communication: ability to articulate value proposition, engender alignment and convey excitement to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications
• MBA or relevant Graduate degree required
• Consulting experience from a top-rated consulting firm, leading financial services recommended.
• Advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Experience in in payments and / or retail banking
• Strong interpersonal client skills and greatly articulate
