Title and Summary

Director, Product Delivery

Product Delivery works to enable and empower the core of Customer Delivery throughout Asia Pacific, by delivering simplified knowledge, know-how, materials, training, and education. Leveraging our strong partnerships across the globe, combined with our subject-matter expertise, we bring insight, experience, and solutions to deliver innovation, and ensuring our products and platforms are ready to deploy at scale. As the leader of the Acceptance product delivery vertical, you will lead a regional team of subject matter experts to facilitate seamless regional product deployment through readiness assessments, market test leadership, and ongoing support. You and your team will create, review and update delivery artifacts, resolve issues, and share insights for continuous improvement. With training, commercialisation support, being a subject matter expert , we enhance customer satisfaction and deliver exceptional value across the AP region.

Responsibilities
• Leads the product readiness activities for AP region to get the products ready to scale
• Shepards new and complex products through the market test phase to commercialisation, which includes leading pilot projects products and services in AP region
• Conducts post implementation reviews after each pilot projects and communicates all lessons learnt to key stakeholders
• Partners with the regional product teams to ensure clear & required solution definition for the client with a proposed implementation plan
• Acts as the subject matter expert on implementing all new and complex products
• Oversees development of delivery process maps that articulate all assets and functions to be coordinated
• Ensures customer satisfaction is measured through regular implementation administration of post-implementation and in-progress reviews
• Develops qualitative and quantitative implementation benchmarks for all product areas supported to maximize staff effectiveness
• Reviews analysis on customer business and identifies customized solutions, new products and enhancements within a deployment project
• Formally supervises and coaches individuals
• Helps identify, coach and groom top talent and pro-actively develops employees as organizational resources

Experience
• Proven stakeholder management skills, with excellent relationship influencing/building, and strong communication skills at all levels - senior management, peers, and staff
• Must be articulate and creative, adept at delivering face-to-face presentations to a senior audience and/or a broader organization
• Ability and willingness to be hands on and lead from the front across product and platform readiness, program and project management and customer training
• Identify, coach and groom top talent and pro-actively develops employees as high-performing organizational resources
• Define, analyse, and manage metrics to drive and influence efficiencies across the team, to measure and improve overall performance and ensure high client satisfaction
• Deep knowledge of Mastercard's issuing and acquiring dynamics and the payments value chain, with a thorough understanding of all Mastercard products, services, and solutions
• In-depth experience and demonstrated consistent success in project management including thought leadership in PM methodology and working across multiple teams/geographies
• Has in-depth knowledge and experience with APIs
• Installed formal coaching, learning, development, and rotation programs to elevate and improve team performance
• Comfortable with handling ambiguity but also seeks clarity when necessary
• Ability to manage conflicting priorities through negotiation
• Ability to act with agility to pivot and react when things don't go to plan
