The Team You Will Join
Are you seeking a challenging role to set the standards for global payments? We are experts in payments and recognize the inefficiencies that exist in end-to-end payments, especially in the gaming, streaming and eLearning industries. We are looking for a smart, driven and diverse compliance analyst for our checkout vertical at NIUM. This is an early role for a new growth-oriented business unit.
The Compliance Team provides support by completing the onboarding of merchants and payment gateways, identifying compliance gaps, writing and enhancing policies, and providing general compliance guidance to the wider team.

Your Next Exciting Role
This role will sit within the Nium Checkout Compliance Team reporting to the Nium Checkout - Senior Manager - Compliance. As a Senior Compliance Analyst, you will be responsible for onboarding both merchants and payment gateways. You will also work closely with the Senior Compliance Manager to help identify policy gaps and to help in the development of new policies and procedures, as well as helping to maintain those already in place.

What would a day @Nium look like?
    • Onboarding of merchants & partners - carrying out KYB/KYC checks, establishing the UBOs, PEPs & Sanctions screening, and other CDD queries on corporate as well as financial entities.
    • Familiarisation with global regulatory guidelines and operating requirements.
    • Guidance for the team on partner requirements.
    • Conduct Compliance gap analysis as required.
    • Help develop new Policies & Procedures
Which Skills & Experiences will make you successful?
    • Previous experience in Onboarding, Underwriting, AML, or Compliance role
    • In-depth knowledge in either acquiring or payments services would be most advantageous
    • Previous background in KYC/due diligence process in financial services or a related field
    • Experience in dealing with PEPs & Sanctions escalations, via screening tools such as Dow Jones or WorldCheck.
    • Familiarity with acquiring and payments regulations will be beneficial in this role
    • Experience with formulating policies, procedures, and related documentation would be beneficial
    • Industry-related bachelor's degree and accredited compliance management certification such as CAMS, CRCM.
