Senior Business Analyst

Role and Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth analysis of business processes, systems, and data related to financial instruments and investment funds.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and identify process improvement and optimization opportunities.
• Utilize your expertise in financial instruments and investment fund accounting to provide insightful recommendations and solutions.
• Perform data analysis, validation, and reconciliation to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information.
• Develop comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, test plans, and reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new systems or enhancements, ensuring seamless integration and user adoption.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to financial instruments, accounting for investment funds, and data management.

Ideal candidate:

• A minimum of 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the financial services industry.
• Strong knowledge of financial instruments, including equities, fixed income, derivatives, and alternative investments.
• Expertise in investment fund accounting principles, regulations, and reporting requirements.
• Familiarity with data management concepts, including data governance, data quality, and data integration.
• Proficient in using industry-standard tools for data analysis, such as SQL, Excel, and data visualization software.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
