About the team:
- At Aspire, we are committed to empowering our customers throughout their journey with us. Our Operations Team ensures customers can operate seamlessly on our platform, and guarantee the best customer experience possible.
- At the same time, we understand the importance of maintaining a strong culture of compliance to protect our organization and ensure the trust of our customers. Our Compliance Team is at the forefront of identifying and addressing regulatory risks, implementing controls, and ensuring that our policies and procedures align with regulatory requirements. This allows Aspire to stay ahead of evolving regulations, proactively identifying potential risks and developing comprehensive risk mitigation strategies, hence contributing to our long-term success.
We are hiring for the role of a KYC manager that will lead a group of KYC Analyst
What will you be doing?
- Lead a team of AML, KYC analysts to conduct Onboarding/ Periodic Reviews
- Design & implement frameworks and continuously improve our KYC capabilities
- Ensures that all engaged/onboarded client records are compliant with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Client (KYC) regulatory standards in a timely fashion
- Assist in investigating AML-related issues and escalated cases
- Explore ways and methods to ensure the KYC process and procedures is seamless
- Ensures a pleasant experience for clients
- Work with internal and external stakeholders
- Proactively look for ways to improve and streamline the processes
- Provide regular updates on the performance and well-being of the team to the KYC lead; Coach and develop the team
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in KYC and AML/CFT
- Strong understanding of KYC or AML procedures for financial institutions
- Professional AML/CFT certification (e.g. ICA Certificate or Diploma, ACAMS) is a plus but not essential.
- Experience in managing a team is essential
- Ability to operate with flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving and collaborative environment
