Job Description

People Systems

  • Be responsible for the strategy, development, configuration, testing, implementation, upgrades, enhancements and integration of the Bank’s human resource information systems for GXS and its affiliates.
  • Partner with the respective country People Systems team to identify and gather their business requirements, design/recommend solutions, prioritize projects and ensure strategic alignment across geographies.
  • Act as the primary liaison and key partner between the People, Technology teams, users and third parties to ensure the People team’s requirements are understood and delivered
  • Manages budget and vendors, RFP and contract renewal processes.
  • Maintains systems to ensure continued operations and reporting efficiency, and resolves software issues.
  • Ensures data integrity, system security, and testing of system changes.

People Operations

  • Responsible for the full employee lifecycle including pre- and post-employment screening, fit & proper checks, offer letter generation and management, onboarding, leave management, employment changes and off-boarding processes.
  • Be proactive in implementing change management processes to improve service through streamlining processes
  • Establish and maintain proper records management
  • Ensure People policies and guidelines are aligned with business and local statutory requirements; regularly reviews processes to improve efficiency and enhance productivity
  • Oversee all People Compliance matters including preparing of reports for regulators, submissions for regulatory surveys, and licensing and notification requirements as required by MAS and/or SGX

 

Role Requirements

  • You have 5-8 years’ experience implementing and administering HRMS solutions (include but not be limited to Workday,)
  • Extensive working knowledge of IT processes or HR processes and regulations across SEA
  • Wide ranging experience with technical and business/functional concepts for the full employee life cycle
  • Strong project management skills to rally the resources towards the project objectives
  • Understanding of tech and regulated financial industry.
  • Knowledge of both is a strong plus
  • Demonstrated strong attention to detail with the ability to overcome challenging issues with creative solutions
  • Strong desire to work in a fast paced and high growth environment Highly adaptable, meticulous, organized with a preference for an ‘enabler’ role for the people team
  • Strong cultural competency with must haves in integrity, can-do attitude and team player, results focused while constantly iterating in a startup environment
  • Enjoys transactional work with ability to self-manage high volume workload. Well-versed with Singapore employment law and compliances


You will lead the People Operations team in delivering operational excellence and ensure high standards of accuracy and quality are maintained and within the relevant regulatory and legal framework and policies. You will also be the owner and sponsor of the Bank’s People Systems covering GXS and its affiliates.
