About The Team

About the Role

You manage the risk & onboarding of Aspire's clients. You lead 4 teams: Onboarding Operations, KYC, Transaction Monitoring, and Quality Assurance. You report to the COO and are a part of Aspire's leadership team.

What will you be doing?
  • Manage end-to-end onboarding of clients, from their request to open an account, through KYC, until they are verified and receive access to the platform
  • Assess the risk of clients during onboarding & KYC, and implement risk-based monitoring of clients during their lifetime with Aspire through Transaction Monitoring & Periodic Reviews
  • Monitor existing clients & their activity on the platform to make sure they are legitimate & in line with Aspire's risk appetite
  • You balance effectively commercial, operational, & risk objectives: onboarding & keeping clients with Aspire, operating effectively & at high productivity levels, reducing the risk profile of Aspire clients, complying with internal policies & external regulations
  • Rally Aspire teams around customer onboarding and oversee cross-functional projects to improve customer onboarding; Work closely with relevant stakeholders: Product, Compliance, Sales, Marketing.
  • Own onboarding & risk related metrics: Onboarding conversion, Operations SLAs, Compliance with internal policies, Onboarding client satisfaction, AML escalations, risk profile of clients onboarded, RFIs.
We would love to get to know you if you have the following:
  • You are an experienced leader - Minimum 10 years of experience; Track record in a leadership role in a financial services company; You have experience in risk & AML operations;
  • You make operations run like clockwork - You are highly analytical and structured, you can coach people so they can manage their team autonomously
  • You can create, articulate & execute your strategy - You understand the trajectory of the company and create & implement a strategy to support it & bring it to the next level
  • You are customer-obsessed - Putting yourself in the shoes of the customer comes naturally to you. The customer comes first, not your colleague, not your supervisor. You always do right by the customer.
  • You have strong communication & prioritization skills - You are an expert at creating a vision, prioritizing the most important items to execute on your vision, and communicating them clearly to the team.
