Project manager / Business analyst core banking

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and structure projects and new requirements in the Core Banking domain.
• Lead the development of functional solutions with business stakeholders and IT teams.
• Drive the definition of use cases for User Acceptance Tests.
• Manage decision-making and analysis processes, obtaining necessary approvals.
• Coordinate implementation, ensuring adherence to Project governance.
• Bring added value to IT tools and operational processes impacted.
• Ensure new solutions respect Group standards and allow for mutualization/reuse.
• Act as the primary contact for user representatives during analysis and project phases.
• Perform standard project management tasks, including preliminary studies, planning, and budget elaboration.
• Organize and run dedicated committees, identify and report on project risks, and coordinate teams.
• Plan migration strategies and change management activities.
• Supervise and contribute to Users Acceptance Tests for new implementations.
• Maintain positive relationships with business sponsors and stakeholders across locations.

 

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Banking Industry as a Project Manager and/or Business Analyst.
• Strong knowledge of Core Banking processes, including transaction capture, settlement, and accounting booking.
• Familiarity with financial products and underlying elements (Securities, Payments, Money Markets, Foreign Exchange, Credit, Derivatives, Structured Products, Commodities).
• Experience in Regulatory Reporting (e.g., MIFID2, Cost and Charge Reporting to clients).
• Proficient in reconciliation and matching systems (e.g., Intellimatch).
• Knowledge of payment and transaction settlement systems (SWIFT, SEPA, local domestic systems in Europe and Asia).
• Excellent English communication skills (oral and written).
• Strong proficiency with Powerpoint, Excel, Word, Visio.
• Familiarity with project management tools, issue and release management, and production support (JIRA, Service Now, PPM tools, etc).
