Java Blockchain Software Engineer - Leading FinTech Group

Our client, a leading FinTech Group, is building an international operation center in Malaysia to support their global cross-border payment, digital payment, and digital banking expansion. They have over 50 headcounts from junior Java developers to senior developers and managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable, real-time, high throughput, and secure cross-border payment solutions using Java.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define technical specifications for payment/ digital banking applications.
- Perform code reviews, debugging, and testing to ensure the quality and stability of the financial systems.
- Optimize and enhance existing payment and banking solutions to improve performance and scalability.
- Research and stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Java programming language, Spring/ JUnit framework, Relational Databases, SQL, and ORM technologies.
- Strong communication in English, and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team environment.
- Fluency in Chinese is a plus.
- Proficiency in version control systems, unit testing, and continuous integration tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to apply critical thinking to resolve complex technical challenges.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working in the financial, payment, or banking industry.
- Management experience
- User requirement analysis experience
