Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Automation Engineer to join a dynamic product development team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our software products meet the highest standards of quality and performance before they reach our users. Your primary responsibilities will involve designing, implementing, and executing automated tests, as well as debugging and defining corrective actions. This position is integral to our product development process, helping us deliver smooth, reliable, and effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Test Strategy & Automation: Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, detailed test cases, and scalable automation frameworks to support our CI/CD processes.
- Execution & Analysis: Execute automated test suites and meticulously analyze the results to identify defects, performance bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- Process Optimization: Proactively identify opportunities where automation can enhance operational efficiency and reduce the need for manual testing.
- Documentation: Maintain clear and thorough documentation of all automation processes, test cases, and results for auditing and reference purposes.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay current with the latest testing strategies, tools, and methodologies to continuously enhance our software testing processes.
- Team Collaboration: Support manual testing efforts when required and maintain strong communication with the wider development and product teams.
Core Qualifications
- A tertiary degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Business fluency in both written and spoken English.
- A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in automation testing and framework development.
- Strong Python scripting skills are mandatory.
- Proven experience with test automation tools such as Selenium or Appium.
- Solid experience in API automation.
- Demonstrated experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Familiarity with working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- An analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.

- Prior working experience within the trading, financial, or crypto industries is highly preferred.
