JOB DESCRIPTION
To fill the Accountant role, the ideal candidate should be result-driven and pro-active in supporting business needs. The successful candidate is responsible for accounting and finance function, including hands-on for the day-to-day accounting operations, preparation of financial and regulatory reports. With good knowledge in Financial Reporting Standards, the Accountant will work towards the requirements of a regulated digital exchange with the compliance team.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform daily transactional accounting and timely closing of month-end/quarter-end/year-end accounts.
• Prepare financial statements and management reports with variance analysis, schedules and reconciliations.
• Prepare GST submissions.
• Handle audit and corporate tax related matters.
• Develop and coordinate inputs for budgeting, forecasting and projections.
• Prepare MAS reporting (CMSL & RMO).
• Set up accounting systems, workflows and internal controls.
• Undertake ad-hoc projects.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES & SKILLS
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent and ICPAS CA.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience with 2 years in audit.
• Good working knowledge in Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and tax regulations.
• Experience in Fintech industry, banking, MAS reporting (CMAL & RMO) will be an added advantage.
• Good working knowledge with ERP systems, such as Oracle Netsuite, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP Business One.
• Good leadership qualities with good communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to learn, work independently, be pro-active and willing to be hands-on in work deliverables to meet timeline
