Our client is a single family office that they would like to hire an Investment Manager for private equity / Venture Capital investment in the region. They are interested in technology, IT and Fintech related sectors. It is a new team and the position is based in Singapore.
Key responsibilities
- Identify potential investment opportunities particularly for direct investment in the technology industry such as TMT, Internet, Fintech, Gaming etc
- Conduct industry research and investment due diligence such as financial modelling and analysis
- Oversee investment execution process to ensure it is smoothly run and aligned with the firm’s objectives
- Monitor investment portfolio to optimize asset allocation
- Assist in setting up an investment team and process
- Other ad-hoc tasks when necessary
Key requirements
- At least 5 years of direct investment experience such as private equity, venture capital, Corporate Finance etc
- Exposure in Technology and IT industry is preferred such as TMT, Fintech, Internet, Gaming industries etc
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics or other disciplines
- Strong industry networks and market knowledge
- Good financial analysis and modelling skills
- Chinese language is useful as the role will liaise with business partners in China
- Motivated, good communication and interpersonal skills
