ABOUT THE ROLE


We are looking for a dynamic and entrepreneurial Business Development Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about driving growth and excellence. You will be responsible for client acquisition for our solutions, and for developing, identifying and qualifying commercial opportunities.


Preference will be given to candidates with experiences in compliance, KYC, regulatory, or audit functions who are eager to apply their skills in a business development context within the fintech industry.


RESPONSIBILITIES


- Identify and develop new business opportunities with potential clients in the financial services sector.

- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs.

- Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to convey the value of U-Reg solutions to prospective clients.

- Collaborate with the technical and product development teams to ensure our offerings meet regulatory standards and client expectations.

- Attend industry conferences, meetings, and other events to network and promote U-Reg’s services.

- Provide feedback and market research regarding offerings and prospect needs.

- Negotiate and close agreements with clients, while adhering to U-Reg's policies and compliance standards.


REQUIREMENTS


- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.

- A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in either startups, business development roles or audit and compliance.

- At least 1-2 years of experience in compliance, KYC, regulatory, or audit functions, preferably in financial institutions or a compliance consultancy firm.

- Candidates with experience in other areas who possess transferable skills are strongly encouraged to apply.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
