Loan Ops Specialist - Fintech

Our client is a leading international financial institution with a growing presence in Singapore. They are looking for a Loan Operations Specialist to join their loan ops & credit admin team.You will play a key role in loan-related projects, collaborate with stakeholders to enhance system workflows, and ensure efficient operations for secured and unsecured lending processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in loan-related projects and discussions to improve system workflows and processes for Loan Operations and Credit Administration.
• Review and ensure completeness of legal and loan documents for mortgage lending, liaise with external parties such as solicitors, valuers, and insurers, and oversee mortgage loan redemptions.
• Manage account-related tasks including time deposits, account closures, freezing, and earmarking of funds.
• Assist with other operational tasks such as payments and treasury settlement as needed.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution with at least 5 years of experience in Loan Operations and Credit Administration.
• Familiarity with commercial lendings is essential.
• Knowledge of various operational aspects such as time deposits, dormant accounts, GIRO, FAST/PayNow is advantageous.
• Self-motivated, proactive team player with a strong sense of ownership.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to effectively solve issues.
• Fluent in both English and Mandarin to communicate effectively with local and China teams.
