Application Security Specialist - Leading Fintech Firm

Our client, a leading Fintech Firm, is looking for an Application Security Specialist to join their cybersecurity team. Successful candidates will work to ensure firmwide applications remain secure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct vulnerability assessments, source code reviews, and internal penetration tests on various applications
• Enhance the bank's vulnerability management process, including identification, tracking, and remediation.
• Coordinate with external pentest teams for independent tests, managing findings and necessary remediations.
• Participate in security reviews of system designs and architectures for business projects.
• Collaborate with dev and devops teams to integrate security into the SDLC.
• Improve security control integration into CI/CD pipelines.
• Deliver secure coding training and assist in vulnerability remediation.
• Ensure applications adhere to security principles like layered defense and least privilege.
• Investigate and respond to application security incidents.
• Manage the bank's various application security systems.
• Maintain and enhance application security policies, standards, and procedures.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of cybersecurity experience, penetration testing and vulnerability management.
• Proficiency in conducting application and infrastructure security assessments.
• Familiarity with tools such as Burp Suite, Kali Linux, Fortify, Nessus, and NMAP.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and stay updated on relevant technologies.
• Preferred certifications: OSCP, CISSP.
• Proficient in English and Mandarin for communication with stakeholders.
