ESG Ecosystem and Events (E3) Lead

Gprnt (pronounced “Greenprint”) is actively seeking an exceptional ESG Ecosystem and Events (E3) Lead to join our team in Singapore.

As a pioneering hire in Gprnt’s developmental E3 arm, you will work closely with our senior management team to plan and execute strategies that support transformative discourse in the sustainability, and specifically ESG tech/fintech space. These strategies will translate into multi-market events and products capable of engaging and mobilising financial institutions, industry leaders, and government bodies to harness ESG tech/fintech in a more effective manner, to secure tangible outcomes that support global net zero transition efforts. Your work will ultimately synergise with (i) the company’s roadmap for globally scaling Gprnt’s inclusive and interoperable digital platform, as well as (ii) efforts by our industry partners to engage the global finance and fintech community on sustainability-related discourse, across key platforms like the Singapore Fintech Festival, Japan Fintech Festival, and Point Zero Forum.

Gprnt is a spin-out from the Monetary Authority of Singapore that was recently launched at the November 2023 Singapore Fintech Festival. Gprnt’s start-up ethos means you won't be confined by bureaucratic red tape. You'll have the ability to move swiftly, making a tangible impact in growing the ESG fintech ecosystem.

Your Role

At the core of it, being Gprnt’s E3 Lead means that you are passionate about collaborating with stakeholders to engineer innovative opportunities for meaningful, outcome-oriented sustainability discourse around how we can better harness ESG tech/fintech to secure net zero outcomes. You must demonstrate a sharp perception of market trends in sustainability, and capacity for innovative thinking to generate multi-sided perspectives and differentiated narratives on how relevant areas (e.g. policymaking, regulation, financing, transition, decarbonisation etc.) can benefit from better leveraging ESG tech/fintech capabilities. Notably, you will have the opportunity to work closely with internal and external stakeholders to conceptualise and lead the delivery of global flagship events, growing and promoting the associated knowledge IPs, and ultimately delivering groundbreaking, first-of-its-kind experiences for all involved.

Your key areas of responsibility include:

· Strategy & Execution: Conceptualise, refine and deliver E3 developmental strategies to support the overall business needs of the company. Contribute to wider strategic decisions in collaboration with other internal teams and stakeholders.

· Content Creation & Marketing: Leverage existing networks, own research, and market intelligence to generate thought-provoking content; and identify and engage channel partners to actively distribute and promote this content on an on-going basis.

· Program Curation & Operation: Translate content and partnership strategies into detailed requirements and timelines for delivery of events and products, culminating in the orchestration of a flagship event. Collectively, these should ensure continuous engagement of the finance and fintech community on key topics in the ESG tech/fintech space, contributing to the building of Gprnt’s brand identity as a discourse leader in this field.

· Partnerships and Sponsorships: Identify, engage and secure prospective sponsors to support these events and products, notably the flagship event; and in doing so, engineer holistic opportunities for partnership and collaboration with the Gprnt platform products.

Our Ideal Candidate:

· Is well-versed in and has a sharp eye for emerging trends in the sustainability and fintech domain, to ensure developments are comprehensively addressed in the programme constructs to resonate with the community’s current and future needs.

· Possesses at least 6 years of experience in fintech and/or ESG ecosystem work, with hands-on experience of community building, program curation, events management, sponsorship tie-ups, preferably in the sustainability field.

· Has clarity of thought, sense of urgency and independence in delivering assigned goals.

· Is highly curious and analytical, and enjoys translating complex ideas into clear, actionable plans and steps.

· Is proactive, resourceful and results-oriented, and at the same time a team player who is ready to support the team as needed.

· Operates with an entrepreneurial mindset, with a willingness to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment.

· An excellent communicator who can engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

· Prior regional or global events and/or business development experience is a plus.

· Prior start-up culture and experience is highly valued.
