Job Description
Nium was founded on the mission to build the global payments infrastructure of tomorrow, today. Nium's growing card issuance business is already available in 34 countries. Responsibilities
    • [Representation] Represent Nium's products and services, starting with a comprehensive understanding and leading to consumer research to identify how our solutions meet customer needs
    • [Lead generation] Identify, secure, and manage relationships with clients in APAC willing to collect payments internationally (Latam, MENA, SEA, etc.) on a cross-border basis, effectively negotiating and persuading potential clients the value that Nium can add to their business
    • [Scalability] Utilize creative approaches to spread the word about our product and different outreach channels to create a scalable and repeatable pipeline of prospective clients. Identify best practices to refine Nium's lead generation playbook
    • [Pre-Sales] Craft the most compelling pitches by owning and regularly updating the sales collateral
    • [Revenue] Generate revenue from clients, and achieve pre-agreed targets on customer payment volumes, revenues, and profitability
    • [Cross-functional collaboration] Work across multiple key internal stakeholders including but not limited tech, compliance, risk and legal to ensure the smooth onboarding process and timely client go-live
Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in either Business or Technology tracks
    • At least 5 years of Business Development experience for complex digital / tech products with a proven track record of hitting KPIs
    • A robust network of contacts in the Digital Goods field (Gaming, Streaming, e-Learning, etc.)
    • Ability to understand and tailor approach to individual customers with empathy, effectively playing the role of problem-solver for the customer
    • Proven ability to manage both hunting an farming
    • Demonstrated ability to manage a sales pipeline
    • Focus on discovery and approach with a solutioning mindset
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Fluent in English, other regional languages are a plus
    • Past experience dealing with cross-border payments is preferred
