Team Overview

The Aladdin Client Services (ACS) Team regularly resolves the hardest and most sophisticated issues in FinTech. We utilize our in-depth understanding of Aladdin, capital markets and our knowledge of the investment management lifecycle to provide world-class customer service to our rapidly growing global client base. ACS is a dynamic young team that brings unique skillsets and experiences when engaging with sophisticated investor clients ranging from Active/Passive Portfolio Managers, Risk Managers, Traders and Operations Professionals who call on our expertise to achieve strategic objectives ranging from streamlining workflows to implementing innovative solutions.

Job Purpose/Background
  • Solve client inquiries and help our users, who are industry practitioners at some of the world's most respected investment institutions, run their businesses on Aladdin.
  • Use technology to solve problems - we will teach you the skills you need to succeed, such as maneuvering relational databases and parsing product logs.
  • Educate users, leverage service insights, and relay user experience feedback to improve the customer experience and our product.
  • Work on a global team, with a local presence - you will get to work with teams across the world, while still engaging with a vibrant local team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop expertise and answer client queries across the areas of Cash and Position Reconciliations, Accounting, Derivative Operations, Corporate Action processing and other workflows in the Investment Operations space.
  • Build strong working relationships internal stakeholders and cross regional teams while communicating and explaining new Aladdin capabilities to clients.
  • Work with product experts to resolve level 2 inquiries and provide detailed information to the clients.
  • Educate users, leverage service insights, and relay user experience feedback to improve the customer experience and our product.
  • Constantly evaluate systems, processes, and procedures, and make recommendations for improvement.


Knowledge/Experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in financial services or technology industry across operations or accounting.
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical-thinking skills and an ability to identify problems, design and articulate solutions and implement changes.
  • Exceptional communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high self-assurance, positive attitude, and drive.
  • Experience with investment operations, such as trade settlements, corporate actions, reconciliation, accounting, and derivative operations.
  • Understanding of query languages and databases ( SQL, UNIX, APIs).
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, a strong work ethic.
  • Must be detail orientated, possess initiative, and work well under pressure.
