Job Description

As part of a multi-year Wealth Management IT transformation program, the Business Analyst will join the Investment Services stream which focuses on implementing the Temenos Wealth Suite. This comprehensive suite covers Investment Advisory, Portfolio Analysis, discretionary portfolio management, market order capture, client suitability checks, and interfaces with the Core banking system, Order and Execution Management System, and Securities Referential.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct business analysis, acting as the primary contact with external vendors/integrators and various business representatives.
  • Ensure integrator deliverables meet quality standards through thorough review, feedback, and alignment with business stakeholders.
  • Enhance the product backlog with detailed specifications and communicate them to relevant stakeholders.
  • Gather and analyze user requirements, performing impact analysis during the project preparation phase.
  • Produce/review General/Detailed Functional Specifications and communicate them to project teams.
  • Understand system functions/data, defining evolutions of the functional architecture.
  • Properly document functional and non-functional specifications.
  • Review System Integration Testing (SIT) test cases, prepare and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Escalate risks and issues to the line manager.

Ideal Candidate:

  • 5+ years of business analysis experience in banking.
  • Experience in IT transformation projects involving portfolio management systems and/or Core banking applications.
  • Good knowledge of Portfolio Management, Advisory, Risk modeling, and Optimization functions.
  • Knowledge and experience in the Wealth Management (Private Banking) domain and Temenos Wealth Front Office Suite (Triple A) is a strong advantage
  • Familiarity with Order Life Cycle and related functions.
  • Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent documentation skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Knowledge about REST API design standards, patterns, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with Waterfall and Scrum methodologies.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
  • High level of professionalism, patience, and maturity.
