We are looking for the Head of Business Intelligence (BI). Supported by a team of about 10 members you work with a diverse set of stakeholders to move the Aspire business forward with the help of data. Your team is also responsible for conducting technical trainings and events that aim to improve the data analytical skills of data savvy Aspire employees.

What Will You Be Doing :
- Lead, coach and grow a team of BI Analysts in an innovative and fast-paced environment to serve the long term and ad-hoc BI needs of business stakeholders;
- Lead, coordinate and prioritize a large portfolio of BI projects and multiple stakeholders;
- Gather, synthesize, and translate business requirements to design and develop scalable BI solutions to address business needs;
- Manage the roll out of dashboards and reports to the relevant teams; providing training and support on the usage of these tools;
- Track business metrics accurately, perform root cause analyses, and work with metric owners to create recommendations for corrective actions;
- Develop self-service reporting solutions and models to support data based decision making/operations optimization
- Create and maintain mechanisms for deep business partnership, effective prioritization, quality assurance and documentation of the work of your team
- Meet established service-level agreement by providing user support for ad-hoc data requests, fixing bugs, addressing feature requests, and investigating data issues;
- Collaborate with the business, product and data engineering teams to develop tools and processes to enhance quality and speed of data collection; and
- Identify key input metrics to drive improvement in business performance.
- 10+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Data Science, Data Engineering or a similar role;
- Solid, hands-on experience in coaching, building and managing a team;
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or Statistics;
- Strong interest in Fintech, Tech and Start-ups
- Proficiency with SQL, data modelling, data warehousing, analytical techniques, statistical algorithms, and scripting languages (R/Python);
- Experience designing BI roadmaps and executing the vision behind them;
- Excellent communication skills: ability to convert complicated analytical work into easy-to-understand narratives to professionally and concisely explain stories behind the numbers;
- Results oriented, entrepreneurial and self-motivating;
- Excellent project management skills in driving process improvements; and
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to deal with ambiguous problem statements, identify and access relevant data, make appropriate assumptions, perform insightful analysis and draw conclusions relevant to the business problem.
