Job Description
The Role Responsibilities
- Collaborating with a team of Java/ ReactJS developers to achieve business outcomes
- Interviewing/ Coaching/ Developing/ mentoring resources within development team
- Progressing towards tech strategy and propagating best practises across the bank
- Development of technology tasks based on requirements provided by business departments
- Providing proposals of solutions that help the bank’s business units to achieve their goals
- Performing impact analysis and providing development estimates for technology tasks delivery
- Participating in unit and integration testing of components delivered by Technology Team
- Develop, prepare and maintain system documentation, including program descriptions and operational procedures
Our Ideal Candidate
- 7 years of experience in ReactJs/ Typescript and or Java/ Spring boot programming language.
- Experience defining typed APIs to external systems such as web services, pub/sub platforms.
- Good understanding of software development life cycle and system solutions design.
- Knowledge of Internet Banking Applications would be a definite advantage
- Experience in Android & iOS development would be a plus.
- Exposure to continuous build and deployment solutions such as Jenkins
- Able to work within an agile environment delivering software incrementally

- Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills across various levels in an organisation
- Ability to be organised and multi-task on different requirements across various stakeholders, and to work independently and under pressure
- Cultural sensitivity and awareness to work with a range of people from diverse background and geographies
Role Specific Technical Competencies
- Write code for others, not for yourself– your code will be visible to thousands of developers
- Working in highly collaborative, fun loving team using Agile methodology
- Provide unit testing and load testing
- Good design for given business domain and occasional implementation of POCs
- Simplify the business requirements and design
- Hands-on coding, develop high quality code while meeting deadlines
- Mentor and coach junior developers
- Knowledge on Javascript/Typescript technologies/Java/Springboot
