About the role:
The New Accounts team in Singapore is responsible for driving new customer acquisition in partnership with functions including Sales Development, Marketing, and Channel Sales. The team helps fast-growing businesses - including such brands as Love, Bonito and Carousell - manage and fuel their businesses with Aspire's range of financial solutions.
Responsibilities:

About the role:
The New Accounts team in Singapore is responsible for driving new customer acquisition in partnership with functions including Sales Development, Marketing, and Channel Sales. Responsibilities:
- Lead sales growth - own and drive the sales number through successful management, organizational planning, and execution
- Manage the team - enable the New Accounts teams to achieve greater performance
- Drive market expansion - test and validate new segments and use cases, then scaling the organization to capture those opportunities
- Build the sales function - refine Aspire's approach to sales by improving the organization's methodologies, processes, and frameworks
- Shaping strategy - Make the case for prioritizing among different market opportunities based on firsthand experience and data, engaging with other stakeholders such as Marketing and Product
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- 8+ years of work experience in a metrics-driven sales environment
- 4+ years of management and leadership experience
- Combination of entrepreneurial, analytical, and commercial attitudes
- Willingness to "get things done" in the face of ambiguity
- Ability to hire, train, and coach a high-performance sales team
- A growth mindset coupled with both confidence and humility
- Experience at a fast-growing technology / software company
- Passion for working with startups and SMEs
- Exposure to B2B payments, corporate cards, or other fintech
- MBA or other graduate degree
- Fluency in a business language other than English, notably Mandarin Chinese, Bahasa Melayu, or Tagalog
