Roles & Responsibilities


As a Client Engagement Manager with eClerx, you will gain a deep understanding of customer needs by nurturing senior level relationships. The incumbent drives growth by identifying opportunities to expand eClerx’s relationship with customers, improve timeliness and accuracy or reduce risks and cost.


Key Responsibilities

- Maintaining and expanding relationships with an assigned portfolio of clients

- Understand the clients' needs, identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling, and coordinate the delivery of products or services to meet those needs.

- Lead the development and delivery of innovative proposals, combining domain expertise, change and production capability, and automation services

- Think and act critically within a team framework to ensure relevance of services to meet changing client and industry needs

- Elicit client feedback and chair governance forums, ensuring that any issues or opportunities are dealt with swiftly

- Manage and grow the portfolio of services delivered to the client by developing and executing customer coverage plans

- Closely work with eClerx’s offshore teams across Ops/Tech to resolve client issues, escalations and rapid response to requests.

- Understand the client’s short and long-term strategy goals. Build a plan to integrate eClerx services into the client goals.

- Manage project proposals, timelines and deliverables for engagements from proposal through implementation in conjunction with the service’s team


Eligibility Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree

- Excellent problem-solving and consultative capabilities with change the bank experience

- Domain knowledge and industry awareness of Capital Market operations. In depth knowledge in one or more of the following is a plus: Client Lifecycle, Asset Servicing, Derivative operations, reference data, compliance, risk, and finance

- Excellent client facing skills. Ability to build and understand client problem statements, work with a team to create and present proposals, elicit client feedback, and run workshops and governance forums with clients

- Business development experience and commercial acumen – experience covering a client organization in the financial markets industry, identifying opportunities, building and delivering commercial proposals

- Experience in one or more of these areas is a plus: Business development for a Fintech or Services provider, consultancy experience covering large financial institutions, and Banking Operations Change or Operations IT experience
