A new program at the National University of Singapore (NUS) aims to nurture the country\\\\\\\'s next generation of financial technology talents and full-stack developers.

Launched earlier this month, the NUS-FintechSG program, offered by the NUS Fintech Lab and Strategic Technology Management Institute (STMI), aims to equip students with knowledge about contemporary developments in the fintech space and give them practical experience in an industry placement of up to a year.

The course, which is fully funded, is an intensive two-month full-time program that covers the fundamentals of fintech and business, programming concepts, as well as knowledge and development tools used in the fintech industry. Companies and financial institutions like UBS, Razer and Bank of Singapore, have partnered to offer students a full-time traineeship of between nine to 12 months, with job offers to follow based on merit.
